This is my Third tattoo. The sanskrit writing on my wrist means freedom and liberation, which was originally there as they are two very meaningful words to me. Then i recently carried out a mehndi lotus flower design up my arm it’s not completely finished yet because my tattoo artist and i haven’t decided how we would like to finish it. I have an amazing tattoo artist called Kim Angel and i’m very happy with it.
This is my first tatto , represents part of my history family . =)
This is my 3rd tattoo :)
It’s pretty basic, but hurt quite a bit although it was well worth it.
there really is no deeper meaning behind this tattoo other than the obvious spot, my ring finger. With today’s divorce rate, I wanted something to remind not only me, but everyone around me, that this finger is for the person you love. No other person will put a ring on this finger other than the person I marry, the vow is till death do us part, not till our “love” runs out. Marriage is something that is meant to be forever and so many people don’t really know what that means. Marriage is forever, so is a tattoo, and so is love, or at least they’re meant to be… This tattoo serves as a reminder of what should be, and a warning on who you let into your heart and in your life. I really do love it :)
Done by Ryan Gagne, Classic Tattoos
This is my first tattoo, inked on a sunny day in Barcelona, Spain. It is the OMsymbol/Elephant-headed god, Ganesha the Remover of Obstacles, as a reminder of my yoga practice and my art.
My first tattoo. It starts out with a heart that symbolizes my once passion for nursing and the ECG lines symbolizes the challenges I faced in the Philippines and but then flat lines meaning I failed at becoming a nurse but starts up again then ECG makes out the words faith. The challenges I went through were very difficult and life changing but no matter how difficult the challenges were I still have faith in myself. Without going through those challenges I wouldn’t have found my passion to major in psychology and become a therapist. Life is full of challenges and you can’t over come them all, the best you can do is just learn from your mistakes and have faith in yourself.
My best friend and I got these done on December 28th, 2011. The top is mine, the bottom is hers. This was taken just a couple hours after we walked out of the shop.
Normally, I’m not a huge fan of “matching” tattoos. But we have been through hell and back, more than anyone will ever realize, and when everything always falls apart, or we hit rock bottom, the other was always there to reach out a hand, even when nothing else was left. I have saved her life, and she’s saved mine. We live halfway across the country from each other now, me in Colorado and her in Pennsylvania, and we’re closer than ever. Both of us went back to our hometown for the holidays. She paid for these as my Christmas present and I couldn’t have been happier. I remember the phonecall I got from her saying, “So… Merry Christmas. We’re getting matching tattoos.” :) We debated nonstop for those few days about what to get, and finally, I had decided on those lyrics from the song “Dig” by Incubus, because it’s something we used to play for each other when we needed a pick me up. The font is in the same style as Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, also symbolic, since that was the topic of our very first conversation ever. This is my second tattoo, and her third.
Maybe it’s because I have a high pain tolerance, but the spot we picked surprisingly didn’t hurt nearly as much as I thought it would!
It was just an amazing experience and every time I look at my arm now, I smile.
These were done at Old Tyme Tattoo in Titusville, Florida, by Camron Austin. Good guy and an even better artist. :)
